What do I get?

Two complete drafts of your speech, one warmer and one funnier, each timed to the length you chose, with delivery notes on where to pause and where to look. Then one free rewrite with your own notes, and printable cue cards for whichever version you pick. It all costs $19, paid once.

Who writes it?

Our AI writes it, and it knows how to work a room. Want them crying with laughter? Done. Want Grandma reaching for a tissue? Also done. Most people want a little of both, and that's its favorite kind of speech.

It follows a speechwriter's rules: a clear opening, one or two real stories, the moment that lands on the couple, and a toast; plain words that are easy to say out loud; and humor that's kind, never mean. It has also never once called the bride by the groom's ex's name, which already puts it ahead of a lot of best men.

One thing it won't do is make stuff up. Every story in your speech comes from you. (The AI is Claude, made by Anthropic.)

How long does it take?

Just a few quick questions, and only the essentials are required. Bullet points are fine. After you pay, your drafts are usually ready in about a minute. A rewrite takes about the same.

What if I don't have much to say?

Give us what you have, even in bullet points. If you only have a little material, we'll write a shorter, sincere speech rather than pad it, and we'll suggest what you could add. A good two-minute toast beats a rambling five-minute one.

Can I edit it?

Yes. It's your speech. Copy the text and change anything. You also get one free rewrite where you tell us what to change ("make it shorter", "add the story about the dog", "less teasing").

Which speeches can you write?

Best man, maid of honor, matron of honor, best woman, man of honor, father or mother of the bride or groom, siblings and friends, for the reception, rehearsal dinner, engagement party, shower or a vow renewal.

What if I don't like it?

Use your free rewrite first; most problems are fixed by a sentence of notes. If the drafts still miss, email admin@speechbytonight.com within 14 days for a full refund. See the refund policy.

Is my information private?

Your answers are used only to write your speech. They're sent to Anthropic's API to write it and stored on our server so you can come back to your speech; we delete them after 90 days. We don't publish them or sell them. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see your card. Details are in the privacy policy.
